This website is run by Onyx Cleaning Solutions ("we", "us"), a cleaning business based in Thetford, Norfolk. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us at hello@onyxcleaningsolutions.co.uk or on 07920 793597.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, the town or postcode of the property, the service you are interested in, and anything else you choose to tell us about the job.

If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect information about how you use the website through Google Analytics: the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser type, and your approximate town or region. This does not tell us who you are, and if you do not accept, none of it is collected. We do not use advertising cookies. How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
To arrange, carry out and invoice cleaning work you ask us to do.
To keep basic records of our customers and the work we have done.
To understand how the website is used and improve it, only if you accept analytics cookies.

Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business. For Google Analytics, our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. We will not send you marketing, and we never sell your information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run our website and email. Quote requests are stored by Wix, which hosts this website, our email is provided by Google Workspace, and, if you accept analytics cookies, information about your visit is processed by Google Analytics. These providers process information on our behalf and may store it outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We only share your details with anyone else where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

If you do not go ahead with a quote, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as we work for you and then for up to six years to meet our accounting and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, email hello@onyxcleaningsolutions.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
